Renowned inventor, material scientist, and Harvard Professor David Edwards wanted to build on the success of his art and design center, Le Laboratoire Paris, with a new, one-of-a-kind destination in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He envisioned Le Lab Cambridge as the U.S. flagship for ArtScience Labs, a global organization dedicated to the development of the most radical ideas that transform the way we learn, imagine, and evolve.


In the two years leading up to the launch of Le Laboratoire Cambridge, we partnered with David Edwards and his leadership team to help craft a distinctive and compelling vision for ArtScience Labs, focused around its unique ability to bring together creatives across fields, from designers to chemists to famous chefs; its uniquely experimental, entrepreneurial, and participatory ethos; and its commitment to the most radical ideas igniting fundamental change in education, culture, industry, and society.


Now that Le Lab Cambridge has officially opened its doors to the public, Cambridge residents and visitors alike are able to experience first-hand the wonders and experiments of innovators of all kinds. The opportunities for adventure and discovery at Le Lab know no limits, with a range of cutting-edge exhibitions, dynamic public programming, and immersive food and drink experiences.
